Kyokan Dojo of Bacolod City Guestbook

It is my pleasure to welcome all of you to our new website. This site is open to all members and non-members of Kyokan Dojo of Bacolod City.

For Kyokan Dojo members, this site will provide a good source of information to further develop one's understanding of the art of Aikido. Dojo members can even post their opinions, suggestions, and comments on any topic related to Kyokan Dojo's activities.

For non-members, this site is a good stepping stone to discovering what Aikido is, as well as learning about Kyokan Dojo's activities.

We hope you enjoy your visit each time you log in to this site. We will do our very best to update this site every month. We ask only that you sign our guestbook so that we can get to know more about the Aikido community in the Philippines and around the world.

Thank you and I hope to see you soon!

A message from Sensei Nonong Fuentes

I wish you all welcome to our website. Kyokan Dojo of Bacolod strives to bring relevant information to the development of our Dojo members. Non-members are more than welcome to visit our site and hopefully entice them to join our Dojo.

Aikido is a beautiful art. It is not so much the mastery of twisting one's limb or doing the best body fall on the mat that matters; Aikido is much more than this. Aikido is a journey of discovering the inner beauty of peace and harmony, peace not only in one's environment, but peace within oneself , it is calming the tidal waves within oneself into a gentle and tranquil sea.

Kyokan Dojo would like its members to excel in whatever dreams they may have, we believe that a good spiritual and physical foundation is necessary to achieve ones dream. Kyokan Dojo believes Aikido is one form of developing a person's physical strength, will, confidence, and honesty. We do not strive for competition, but rather cooperation with a sense of purpose, focusing one's energy to attain what is positively good.

Kyokan Dojo of Bacolod invites you to discover these strengths.
